August 26, 27 & 28: Service Opportunity!! Please give this your full consideration:
Come and be part of an historic occasion to work alongside people from many parts of the world attending the worldwide United Nations Civic Society Conference on August 26, 27 & 28. The event will be held at the Salt Palace Convention Center located at 100 South West Temple, Salt Lake City, UT. We need volunteers (all ages!) to assemble 375,000 meals for needy children.

It's easy to sign up for any of the one-hour shifts at the following link--https://www.justserve.org/Latterdaysaintcharities. (Groups can register and volunteer as well.) (If you haven't previously done so, please visit JustServe.org to sign up and register.) What a tremendous opportunity to participate with Feeding Children Everywhere to look after the poor and needy, and to showcase how good people from throughout the world, working together, can bless others!

August 31: 8:30am We have been invited to participate in the "Fall Clean Up" effort at the Utah State Development Center in American Fork.  Volunteers will meet at the chapel immediately south of the USDC and across the street from the Mt. Timpanogos Temple. Those who are participating are encouraged to wear work clothes and to bring their own water bottles, garden rakes, hoes, and weed trimmers.

September 1: One Batch Sunday-Families are invited to do one batch of indexing and celebrate with one batch of cookies (they take about the same amount of time!)

September 15: Worldwide Devotional Face to Face event with Elder Ulisses Soares and Elder Craig C. Christensen of the Seventy. This is for all Young Adults (single and married). Broadcast begins at 5:00pm.

September 20: Ward Temple Night

September 24: Ward Party at family history center from 6:30 to 8:30pm
