Relief Society

We are in the process of handing out new ministering routes. We would love if you would get together with your ministering companion and visit with the sisters you’ve been asked to minister too. We feel this would be a great blessing in all our lives as we minister to the sisters around us.

Elder’s Quorum

We’ll be having ministering interviews over the next few weeks and will be updating some ministering routes as well. Please respond if you are contacted by the Elder’s quorum presidency.

Ward

The Mount Timpanogos Temple is looking for volunteers to help work on the temple grounds, in the flower beds and other planting activities once a week for 2-3 hours in the morning during the Spring and Summer. Contact Seth Farr for more information: Seth.Farr@churchofjesuschrist.org

AF West Stake Adult Religion Class
It will be held at the Stake Center RS room every Wednesday at 11am, beginning February 13 and continuing until May 8 (no class April 10). The theme is “Search the Prophets” and will be taught by JoLyn Day.

Mission Prep

We will follow the following schedule each month for Mission Prep
1st Sunday: No Mission Prep
2nd Sunday: 2:30pm - 3:15pm in the Linford home
3rd Sunday: 2:30pm - 3:15pm in the Linford home
4th Sunday: 3pm at the Stake Center
Age Group: Going forward the weekly meetings will be 14 and up. We are not abandoning our Deacons and Beehives, we have a special plan for them below.
Seniors: For seniors that are interested, we will hold a ~10 week class during second hour of church (during the second semester of their senior year).
12 & 13 year olds: Every six months we will hold a special Missionary Prep for our Deacons and Beehives. This will be a lesson and activity geared specifically for them. We are targeting to hold the first session in March. Stay tuned for the exact date.

Ward temple night has been changed to the Draper Temple.  Meet in the lobby at 6:30 pm so everyone can be ready by 7pm.

On March 12th there is a Temple trip planned to perform baptisms. We will meet in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple lobby at 6:30 so everyone can be dressed and ready by 7pm. If you have family names for baptism and would prefer the youth to do the work, please contact their leaders. Cards will be returned to you after ordinance work of baptism and confirmation are completed.

March 14th: This is the another opportunity for everyone in the ward to do baptisms at the Temple. Meet at 6:30pm in the lobby.  If you can't attend on the 12th, please come on this day!

March 5th: Family History Ward Activity 6:30pm - 8:30pm (Open house)
American Fork Family History Center - 110 East Main Street, American Fork. Use the doors on the East side of the Tabernacle. Enter on the lower level.
With help from consultants, members can search a find a family name to take to the Temple. Sis. Webster has reserved the scanner for us that evening. If you would like to input photos, slides, etc into the system please bring them with you. The Ward Primary will watch little children in a room across from the Center. This open house will be the YM/YW Activity for the week.
